When the Family is Away the Cats Will Play During a Stay at Asheville Veterinarian
Taking a vacation can be relaxing for the entire family, even the cat that cannot come along for the ride. Our feline boarding facilities at Charlotte Street Animal Hospital, Asheville veterinarians that treat pets as if they were their own, ensure our boarders are safe, secure and as comfortable as possible while the family is away. Our cat boarding services are available for long and short term boarding while families are traveling, moving, renovating the house as well as a safe haven for felines to recuperate in comfort after veterinary surgery or an injury.
Feline Boarders at Asheville Animal Hospital are Safe, Secure, Monitored and Comfortable
Cats already have an entrance to our veterinarian clinic that is separate from dogs, and our feline overnight facilities are just as exclusive. Our state-of-the-art facilities are staffed by our highly qualified animal hospital kennel attendants with our veterinarian staff nearby if special attention is required. Cats never want for attention in our facility, as we provide continuous care, regular meals and any special requirements they may need.
Cat owners can help out our Asheville animal hospital staff by ensuring the cat has the proper paperwork to prove all vaccinations are up-to-date, alerting us to any special food or medications the pet may require and letting us know if there are any specific concerns we need to address while the cat is in our compassionate care.
Our comfortable and cozy facility lets a cat get out of the stress of travel, especially lengthy car or airplane rides, while providing more supervision and care than the pet would if left with an interim sitter. Clients are also assured we fully welcome our feline guests, unlike some hotels or other destinations. Our facilities are not only cozy and comfy but they are also escape-proof to foil even the craftiest cats.
Families who are leaving their cat in our facility for the first time might want to start with an overnight stay for the cat. Letting a cat stay overnight will show the cat the family will, in fact, return and also give the cat a feel for the new environment. No matter how welcoming the environment is, it is still new to the cat, a fact that can make felines wary and uncomfortable. Our mission is to make a cat feel at home and a family feel secure that the feline’s home away from home is of the utmost quality.
Clients are also welcome to take a tour of our cat boarding facilities prior to vacation or cat’s veterinary surgery. Our veterinarian clinic is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Our staff is happy to answer any further questions about our feline facility, which offers a luxurious vacation of the cat’s very own.
