Dogs & Storks

Siblings have a class. Why not your dog?

Just as siblings need to prepare for the change, your dog needs to prepare, too!  Too often, couples feel they have no option but to give up or re-home their companion when a new baby arrives. Dogs & Storks was created to provide both families and professionals with the resources to successfully include the dog as the family grows.  We hope our program helps more dogs stay with their families for their entire lives!

Girl_with_dog.jpgThis highly endorsed program is a must for new & expectant families with dogs!

Created by Jennifer Shryock from www.familypaws.com, Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and expert in child/dog relationships, the Dogs & Storks™ program gives you the tools to prepare your pet for your new arrival!

Topics Covered Include:

  • Getting to Know your Dog
  • Obedience & Training
  • Changes in Routine
  • Managing - Kid Zone & Dog Zone
  • Preparing For Baby
  • Coming Home & Meeting Baby
  • Ages & Stages, Things to Watch for

Welcome to the family...

Have you wondered what your dog is going think of this new creature?  All the new sounds and smells can be confusing to a dog...Old routines are disrupted, and new routines are confusing.  PLUS, all of a sudden he’s not the baby anymore.  Mom, Dad, and older siblings all need to know what to expect; your furry baby needs to prepare as well.  We can help you get the whole family ready for all of the changes that are coming!
