Thank you for choosing Charlotte Street Animal Hospital. Our primary mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive veterinary care available for your pet. An important part of the mission is making optimal care easy and affordable by offering several payment options for our clients.
Payment Options:
You can choose from:
- Cash or Check
- Visa®, MasterCard®, or Discover®
- CareCredit® (a low interest card accepted at many veterinary practices as well as some human health care service providers). You can either apply at our hospital, where we’ll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at: www.CareCredit.com.
Additional Information:
We are unable to provide billing arrangements. Payment in full is expected upon receipt of services and/or at the time of patient discharge.
A deposit may be required for some treatments or hospitalized care. Healthcare plans requiring comprehensive care may require a 50% deposit to begin your pet's treatment. While we sometimes offer in-house payment options for emergencies on a case-by-case basis, we do charge 1.5% interest on all outstanding account balances older than 30 days. We encourage all our clients to consider the option of purchasing pet insurance for their furry family members. We are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit claims to your insurance carrier.

Companion Animal Food and Supplies Drive
Charlotte Street Animal Hospital is proud to sponsor a chilly weather pet food and supplies drive for the needy animals of our region!
From November 15, 2011 to April 15, 2012, Charlotte Street Animal Hospital will be collecting donations for six local animal rescue organizations including Animal Compassion Network, Asheville Humane Society, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, Catman2, Meals on Wheels for Pets, and Phoenix Landing Parrot Rescue.
Each organization's wishlists are outlined below. Please make donations at our hospital or via phone. And thank you! for helping ensure that the furry members of our community stay nourished, cozy, and happy this cold season!
Animal Compassion Network:
-Scoopable kitty litter
-Dog & Cat food (our dogs & cats LOVE Chicken Soup for the Soul!)

Phoenix Landing Parrot Rescue:
*Any perishable items will be picked up by a volunteer upon donation

-Raw, unsalted nuts (our birds LOVE walnuts!!)

-Fold-down carriers (for transport)
